MSG Casillas, Military Science Instructor

MSG Danny Casillas enlisted in the US army in 1997 and attended basic training at Fort Benning, GA. He has served as an infantry team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, and 1SG. His duty station include Fort Drum, NY, Fort Irwin, CA, Fort Bragg, NC, and Fort Bliss, TX. He also served as a Ranger Instructor at Fort Benning, GA and a Senior IG NCO at Yongsan, South Korea. Throughout his career, MSG Casillas deployed four times to Iraq and twice in Afghanistan. His military education includes Airborne, Air Assault, Ranger School, Mountain Warfare, Jungle Operations, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Inspector General Course, and Army Basic Instructor Course. He currently serves as the Senior Military Instructor at the University of Texas at San Antonio Army ROTC. He married and has two children.
