Prior to enlisting in the Army, he worked as a Professional Forester for a lumber company in western Arkansas.
Interests: “I’ve always wanted to have an assignment where I can reach Soldiers at the entry level. As an enlisted Non-Commissioned Officer, I wanted to serve as a Drill Sergeant for basic trainees but was never afforded the opportunity. Now as a Captain, I have the ability to mentor our future leaders and shape the face of the Army for years to come. At home I enjoy spending time with my family and restoring my son’s 1966 Mustang.”
